Wednesday's match marks the 10th MLS regular-season meeting between LA and Minnesota United FC, with the Galaxy leading the series 5-1-4. In four matches played at home against Minnesota, LA holds an unbeaten record of 2-0-2. The last time the two clubs squared off against one another at Dignity Health Sports Park. The Galaxy and the Loons played to a 3-3 draw on Nov. 7, 2021.
The July 4th match between LA and Montréal marks the eighth all-time meeting between the two clubs, with the Galaxy leading the series 4-1-3. In four matches played against Montreal at home dating back to Oct. 16, 2013, LA holds an unbeaten record of 3-0-1, outscoring CF Montréal 5-1 during that span. The last time the two teams faced off against one another, the Galaxy defeated Montréal 2-1 on Sept. 21, 2019.
